Dynamic, energetic, passionate, and experienced, Yazmin Nieves Colomer is a highly respected international real estate professional with a reputation for generating results. Throughout her more than 30 years in the industry, Yazmin has successfully sold and marketed thousands of properties, represented dozens of developers and real estate projects, produced millions of dollars in sales, and even founded her own real estate firm and advertising agency. “Nothing matters to me more than exceeding goals and expectations,” she shares about her business philosophy. “Leveraging every resource available and being proactive in decision making are among the best ways I know to motivate growth, build strong teams, and deliver profitable outcomes.”
Originally from Puerto Rico, Yazmin established and founded Caribbean Properties Investments, Inc. in 1993, which she quickly led to a dominant position in the marketplace. She personally grew the firm’s sales portfolio to more than 40 new developments and re-sales, managed more than 60 closings per month and 500 units per year, far outperforming yearly sales goals of $50 million. In total, Yazmin and Caribbean Properties Investments sold and delivered more than 15,000 units. She accomplished all this while simultaneously conducting market analysis, overseeing buyer financials, hosting sales events, and coordinating sales support staff for the many multiple properties the firm represented.
With so much expertise in competitive marketing realms, Yazmin soon realized there was a tremendous opportunity to provide professional advertising support to clients from a wide variety of industries. She founded Real New Brand, DBA – her own full-service advertising agency to achieve that vision. Real New Brand specializes in logo and identity branding, slogans and taglines, press releases, campaigns, graphic design, and more for developers, hospitality brands, and other professional businesses serving Puerto Rico and greater Caribbean markets.
Engaging, organized, and an excellent communicator, Yazmin’s positive attitude and helpful nature has earned her the praise of developers, buyers, and sellers alike. She was also selected as Outstanding Woman of the Year in Real Estate 2001 in Puerto Rico. Since making the move to Miami to serve the South Florida market, Yazmin has been specializing in new developments, new construction, high rise condominiums, and luxury properties throughout the South Florida area.
In addition to being a licensed real estate broker in Puerto Rico and licensed sales associate in Florida, Yazmin is also a member of the Homebuilders Association of Puerto Rico and of the Florida Land Institute’s South Florida/Caribbean chapter. She also holds several certifications in market analysis, real estate finance and investment, appraisals, mortgage processing and underwriting, negotiations and more. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in marketing from the University of Puerto Rico.
When she’s not actively working or enjoying the multicultural diversity, lifestyle, and great weather of Miami, Yazmin enjoys photography, wellness pursuits, yoga, healthy cooking, travel, music, spin class, fashion, and skin care. She also is the proud mother of a charismatic 20-year-old daughter.
